Cassina

Cassina

Cassina operates at an industrial level in the contemporary furnishing sector, with special skills relative to upholstered furniture and wood and leather working as well as with other precious materials. It produces chairs, tables, armchairs, sofas, furniture items and beds.

Many Cassina products appeared futuristic on their debut, and several were almost disconcerting. However, time and the company's farsightedness in continuing to present these pieces have made them classics that blend perfectly with the rest of the collection.

Cappellini

Cappellini

The Cappellini collections are convincing; they are well balanced, refined, simple and yet leans towards the experimental. There is no house style: the intention is to allow the user enough space for his own individual interpretation. All pieces have been designed to be used, contrary to the trend in recent years. Not only icons, many of which present in the most important museums of the world, from the MOMA in New York, to the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, to the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris, but also flexible products of great design for the daily use: an interest that Cappellini pursues since the beginning with products able to last in the time and that have become true "classical contemporaries".

Cappellini offer completes itself with limited edition products, to increase the value of image and the cultural solidity of its realizations, but also to preserve a pinch of healthy fun.

Alias

Alias

Design is a true vocation for Alias, even in the choice of its designers, who today are wellknown international names, from different generations and with different training and provenance: Giandomenico Belotti, Mario Botta, Carlo Forcolini, Alberto Meda, Paolo Rizzatto, Riccardo Blumer, Jasper Morrison, Alfredo Häberli, Tamar Ben David. Over the years, the company has established an excellent special working relationship with each of these names, and the Alias natural inclination towards experimentation has fostered in every project the development of each designer’s own particular qualities. The international success of the Alias brand is based on the on-going work of the company in developing creative research and product quality, the latest technology and solid production capacity, communication image, marketing intuition and estensive distribution experience. Since 2001 Alias has been part of the Cassina group, which was recently bought out by Poltrona Frau, which has strengthened the position of the brand in the Italian and international sphere, increasing its prospects in coherence with Alias choices that have always been directed at high quality made in Italy design production. An industrial structure based on extensive experience, Alias, together with its staff, has also been able to foster the on-going development of its production sector. Alias products sold every year are proof of the company’s solid ability to produce and its ability to manage independently all the production and distribution phases. Alias distributes its products in 50 countries and has about 1000 furniture stores. Alias design collections are the natural response to the widest range of interior and exterior requirements, the home and contract, communal areas and areas for communities. A light shape that is simple and rigorous, that always has its own well-defined character, based on the original mix of project research and design, innovation of materials and production technology. This is where the quiet charisma of Alias products comes from, making its by now historical items always up-to date and its new projects immediately recognisable.
